About this briefing:

This briefing of the Palestinian Human Rights Organizations Council (PHROC) assesses whether and how the EU and European States, with their support to the EuroAsia Interconnector, violate their legal obligations in connection with Israel’s illegal settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT).

Andrea Longo is a PhD student in International Law at the University of Milan Bicocca with a project on illegal fishing, human rights and EU Responsibility. He has previously worked with an international contract law firm, carried out research on fundamental rights protection within EU Free-Trade Agreements, and provided legal assistance to human rights advocates.

Ingrid Jaradat is an independent analyst of Middle East policy, human rights and international law living in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
